Day 8 we arrive in Key West. Going through Miami was BAD. Stopped at Buds Buns/Islamorada Café for mid morning snack. Small place, good food and service. Had a very late lunch at Mangoes of Key West, It's Not Just A Fruit, It's A Lifestyle. Mangoe's Restaurant of Key West, Casual, Fine Dining With An Island Flair. Very good food and service. We had leftovers.
Returned to Heron House (Inn/B&B). Our room was now clean and they had moved our luggage into the room. Very nice. Very expensive. At 5:30 Heron House had wine & cheese. Dinner was leftovers.

Day 9 was in the 80’s. Toured the island with Old Town Trolley, not to be confused with the Conch Tour Train. The Conch Tour Train is 90 minutes and you can not get on or off. The trolley makes the same tour and gives the same lecture, but you can get on and off at 10 different locations. Lunch was very good at Louie's Backyard, near the Southernmost Point in the US(90 miles from Cuba). Then back to Heron House for More wine & cheese. Dinner was at Sarabeth’s. The Traditional Caesar Salad was the best that I have had for years. The Lump Crabmeat and Key West Pink Shrimp Cakes was good. The Strawberry shortcake was OK, we should have gone with the bread pudding. Would do Mango’s and Sarabeth’s again.
