Abingdon and Staunton, VA

Day 2 was a travel day. Very cold and some snow. Had lunch at Wild Flour Bakery / Gallery in Abingdon, VA. Very good. Will do this again. Homemade split pea soup. Pimento Cheese Sandwich that was a great surprise. Homemade of white cheddar cheese and large chunks of pimento then grilled all toasty and melty, yum yum. Dinner at Mrs. Rowe's Restaurant and Bakery at Staunton, VA. I am giving up on this place.

Thanks for the good review on Wildflour in Abingdon. I'm planning on moving to the area next year and keep fearing that it will close. It's a wonderful bakery and lunch spot - haven't gone for dinner, but the menu looks a little too ambitious for such a small place.
