Palena's Hot Dog...worth trying?

I almost always get the hamburger when I go to the Palena Cafe, but I am headed there tonight and have am intrigued by the hot dog. What is the word on it? Good? Worth getting instead of the burger (the burger is SO good)?

Also, has anyone been there recently enough (re: this week or so) to recommend any dishes from the formal menu or any desserts? I haven't been in a while...although everything is usually great.

I thought the hot dog was great (actually more like a bratwurst) and the kraut (choucroute?) that comes with it is also delicious.

If you like sausage, it is quite good. Haven't been to the restaurant in the last couple of weeks so I can't comment on the restaurant menu.
