just got back from nagahama.great sushi but service a little too slow. any other suggestions in long beach?

      2. I guess Saturday night would be very busy. I usually try not to go on Friday or Saturday. Was it slow getting seated ? I feel that a good part of the Japanese eating experience is the leisurely pace of the meal. The place unfortunately is not very large but I think the quality of the food and the excellence of the preparation are really worth the wait. As for other places in LB I think no other place even comes close.

yes, kotobuki is the place to be but i just can not put up with the wait. long lines, even if you put your name on the list. it's good/great sushi but i can't wait an hr to have dinner.

Yes, I hear the wait has gotten out of control, especially when they have live music. My parents live in Bay Shore during the week, so they give me the latest update on this place.

Sumo in Bay Shore is good too.

          2. Tai Show on Gardener's Avenue in Levittown, Nissan in Commack

            1. Zen 18C Bethpage. As good as Kotobuki without the wait.
