Diner or Dive with in 2 hours of knoxville

I am looking for great diners or "dives" nothing fancy, just great home cooked food and owners with charisma to be featured on a national cable show. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. This is a great opportunity for a small business but will certainly not spoil anything about it.

I agree King Tuts is a good choice.
Also in Seymour Tn (between Knoxville and Seveirville) is a gas station/ food mart that has the best sandwiches ever.The name of it is Whitestar and it is kinda across from the high school and down the hill from a long time boarding school.People drive from all over for those sandwichs.

I think everyone from Knoxvile would definatly say King Tut's Grill! It's at 4132 Martin Mill Pike in South Knoxville. Here's a good thread with a description of the place

E.48th Street Market not a diner, great italian food in Atlanta. It is family run and they make you feel like family. The food is unbelievable. The best cheesecake I have ever eaten. All the bread is homemade. This place is not to be missed.
