Kraft American Cheese in a BLUE BOX? Where?

This is an integral recipe ingredient for a dip that I crave every once in awhile (Pancho's Cheese Dip--they sell it in TN, AR,MS). I used to buy it at Albertson's in Portland, OR but we just moved here and I want to know if anyone has seen this stuff at Publix, Sweetbay etc in St. Pete. It is like Velveeta but somehow very different when it melts and it is in a blue box, usually beside the Velveeta in the store (non refrigerated).

Thanks for any leads!

Amazon lets you sign up to be notified when it becomes available--might be worth a shot.

I hate to be the one to tell you this...but I'm from Texas and everyone here has stopped selling it...which is SO BAD because it's my key ingredient for a few dishes! If you end up finding it, please let me know!

I live in Houston, TX and have always purchased Kraft American Cheese in a blue box located next to the Velveeta all my life. It got harder and harder to find and now I can't find it anywhere. I believe it is called Deluxe American. It is in a box just like Velveeta but different name and the box is blue. It has a much better taste than Velveeta. Anyone know where to find it let me know. Kraft website does not show it as a product to search for a location.

Here is a link to Kraft's product search

On that same page is a link to the product locator to find a store near you that should sell the product you are after.

I buy Velveeta once a year for a chili con queso dip I make for our Superb Owl parties (always a huge hit), and I don't remember ever seeing Kraft American cheese in a blue box near the Velveeta.

Perhaps you could post the recipe on the recipe/Home Cooking -- whatever they call it -- board for us?

I am not sure where to find it but I would try going on the Kraft website and see if you can e-mail them that question. They should be able to tell you who, in the area, sells it.
