Visiting Boston

Hey People...
Some friends and I will be visiting your city in a few weeks. Can anyone recommend any good restaurants in the downtown area. I guess we would be looking for Bar/Pub style food. Or something with some American fare as long as its a fun place. I cant do anything to ethnic because my friends are picky. Thanks in advance

Besides Silvertone, you might go towards Copley Sq. to Parish Cafe on Boylston St. and City Bar in the Lenox Hotel. Also Harvard Gardens down Cambridge St. Kinsale by Govt. Center isn't bad and I've been curious about Ned Devine's in Fanueil Hall. Anyone ever go?

Try Silvertone's. It's a subterranean bar/restaurant with solid comfort food. Never had a bad time there.
