Fresh scallops still in the shell?

Anyone know where I can get fresh scallops still in the shell? No luck at fancier supermarkets such as Whole Foods. I even tried looking at the asian supermarkets, like Ranch 99. I was thinking about checking out Santa Monica Seafood Co., which I've never been to. Do you have a better suggestion? Thanks in advance!

they will oder them for you most likely at the Fish King

When in season, Fish King in Glendale has them -- or can get them on special order.

International Marine Products has them when in season, which I believe is now.

IMP is getting real sensitive about "retail" customers attempting to purchase small quantities.
I suggest LA Fish, downtown.
