Need Rec's for Korean BBQ

Going to dinner on Monday with a well traveled couple that "likes noodles" but hasn't tried Korean food yet. We are meeting in NYC and I'd like to turn them on to something new. Also, there's a no meat guest. I'll take rec's on Japanese but one of the guests won't do raw. Thanx in advance, Hound's!

  1. Kang Suh, on the corner of B'way & 32nd St. (entrance on 32nd), does a very good Korean bbq. In addition to meat and chicken, there are shrimp and vegetable options for grilling.

I recommend just going to Todai on 32nd between 5th and Madison...eat to your heart's content whether you like sushi or meat or just are a vegetarian.

    2. Kum Gang San on 32nd. It's my favorite and has the best bbq and most variety.

Kun Jip on 32nd is also outstanding and very authentic.
