Big Daddy's Mississauga

Anyone been - how is the ambiance, food, crowds?

  1. If you thinking the one at Lakeshore & Southdown. Was there for a few meals & nibblies. Was good food & service for both. The ribs are pretty good & Tues&Wed all you can eat.
Typical chain restaurant with a Cajun atmosphere.

    1. I've only been to the Big Daddy's downtown and would echo MiniMom's comments (excepting ribs which I have never had). In the downtown location the breaded calamari were perfectly done (although they have been slipping of late). The other perennial favourite is the seafood fondue. Something you should try at least once. It is a rich dish but very good.

      1. I've been there for lunch. I remember the portions being a bit on the small side, so if you're going for lunch and have a decent appetite, order the dinner size. I remember the corn bread being good.
