Looking for Cherry Juice

foodseek Feb 3, 2007 07:36 AM

Husband has been diagnosed with gout and I am now searching for a store to purchase Cherry Juice. Any suggestions for a store in San Francisco? Thanks so much!

You might try Rainbow Grocery and get the not-from-concentrate stuff, quite delicious.

Mollie Stone carries it - Cherry Tree brand, I believe.

My sympathies to your husband, I have that as well. Cherry Tree is pretty widely available. I hope he was also told to stay away from shellfish (hard during crab season), organ meats and most important, drink lots of water.

Trader Joe's has some choices, I usually try to get Black Cherry juice. Make sure you check out the label and see that it is 100% cherry juice. Producers like to slip in apple and grape juice in there.

Wholefoods, Wild Oats and Trader Joe's all carry cherry juice. I'm sure you can find 100% at Wholefoods.

Trader Joes has the best price on 100% Cherry juice.

Also has Pomegranete ,Cranberry and Blueberry

                All 100%, nothing added.

Several dollars cheaper than other places.

Makes a great drink mixed with sparkling water

Thanks so much! I did find the cherry juice at TJ's for a great price. Also purchased the Cherry/Pomegranete blend. Now I can add another "yay" buy at Trader Joes.
