You're not going to find anything earth-shatteringly creative, but we had wonderful food when we went a little over a year ago. If you make a day of it and visit some of the area wineries (as we and others did -- we really liked Linden), it's worth it. A mini-vacation. I agree that nothing was earth shattering, but it was the right combination of homey decor, good food, great service and plenty of food. I don't remember what we ordered, but I do remember that the portions were definitely hearty, and they have a big selection of local wines there.
