Tamales (Dangler and Cesar Chavez)

I drove by a tamale shop on my way home, and saw literally hundreds of people waiting in line. Now I didn't have time to stop, but if there's that big of a line, I imagine it's cheap, authentic, and good.

Anyone give it a shot before? Would love to see a quick review.

  1. That's Tamales Lilianas (4629 E Cesar E Chavez Ave, (323) 780-0989), which is considered by many to be one of the top tamale places in town. (I'm a La Indiana fan myself.)

If you do a search of the LA board for "Liliana" you'll find a fair amount of discussion. Or better yet, go check it out and then tell us first hand what you think.
