Where can I find some San Francisco local honey? Has to be from local bees. Otherwise, it would not do any good for my allegery. Thanks.

  1. Go to the Civic Center farmers market Wednesday or Sunday. The honey people always have some honey from local bees. I'm sure all the other local farmers markets have it too (Tuesdays/Saturdays at the Ferry Building for sure).

Yup. Marshall Farms Honey is at most of the local farmers' markets. They have dozens of different honeys, including honeys from hives within San Francisco.

And talk to them about which honey you need for your area. They are well-versed in the honey/allergy connection.

Tower Market (now Molly Stone's Tower Market) on Portola near O'Shaughnessy Blvd. has at the meat counter honey made in San Francisco and packaged by the neighborhood of origin.
