Park Slope, where to hold baby shower suggestions?

Help again - in need of recommendations for a small group of people (8-10) that would be ideal to have a shower. Does not need to be a private room but has have splendid food and atmosphere. Would be on a Saturday afternoon.

Thanks guys!

      1. The most notorious baby/kid-friendly place in the Slope is Tea Lounge - beware of sidewalk SUV's sometimes referred to as double-wide strollers.

      2. There will be no babies at this event, nor chidlren - adult women and a man sister. Let me be more direct - looking for a place with sublime food and alchohol that would accept 8 - 10 people on a Satuday afternoon.

        1. You should try Little D Eatery- there are starting saturday brunch tomorrow and it is a SPECTACULAR brunch- i was there last week for brunch and was really floored at how delicious the food was. things really tasted so fresh and clean- my wife remarked it was like eating at someone's home, not so restaurant-y. call in advance and arrange a big table in the front. highly recommended- nice people, "sublime" food, very reasonable.

          1. Applewood's brunch is just unbelievable. They don't usually take reservations for brunch, but might for a party that big.

I don't love Little D and they don't have great atmosphere. I would recommend Palo Santo on Union St. Awesome food and incredible atmosphere.
