Just tried Balthazar's. Very tasty. Also enjoyed Sweet Melissa's. What's yours?

Peasant and Blue Ribbon make good versions. I've heard that Blue Hill has a great bread pudding too.

Oh yes. The chocolate bread pudding with salted caramel at Blue Hill is heaven on a dessert plate.

Which one would you recommend, the chocolate chip, or the banana walnut?

Blue Smoke... made with bacon. One of the best things ever.

wow. never tried a savory bread pudding, but that sounds facinating.

Blue Hill (NYC) has always been known for its signature chocolate bread pudding. Seriously delicious!

I've looked at BHNYC website and don't see anything about a bread pudding made with bacon. I've also looked at the Stone Barnes website and, while they also serve the chocolate bread pudding, I don't see a bacon version listed there either.

So, at which location did you have it? And was it a special?

I think MA was referring to the bread pudding at Blue Smoke, not Blue Hill.

Oops! You're right. I need to read more carefully. :-(
