Seasons (Four Seasons restaurant)?

Been thinking about checing it out - can anyone offer any thoughts on Seasons? How does it stack up vs Silks or the RC Dining Room? Special dishes, environment, price/value ration? Etc. - any thoughts appreciated.

Actually, my husband and I tried it for dinner just this week. We hadn't been there in a long time. It was so much better than we remembered! The service was amazing and we loved the food! The server found out we hadn't been there in a while and had the chef send over an extra scallop course for us! Try it again!

I went once and it's been a bit, but we didn't find the food particularly memorable. I'm not the world's biggest Silks fan, either, though. But in no way is Seasons on par with the Ritz Carlton. Nice room, though!

Yes, if you do go, hope you report back. I went a few years ago during Dine About Town. It was ok, but not in the same class as Silks or The Dining Room. I check the website once a year to see if anything has changed ... nope ... no reason for me to go back.

They DO hava a fabulous bar area with great nibbles.

I've only had breakfast there (twice) so can't comment about dinner. Tab for 2 breakfast entrees, 1 pot coffee, 1 pot tea = $48 before t/t. Typical 4 Seasons service (excellent) and atmosphere (quiet, tastefully decorated).

On another occasion, we attended an alumni reception there and the hors d'oeuvres were tasteless and dry.

Someone at the SJMN had dinner there it just after it opened, and the review was mixed. If you go, I'd love to have your report.
