cozy bon-voyage lunch

Hi friends. I am looking for the best recommendation for a cozy lunch on saturday with some ambiance. Londoner biz. assoc. is leaving for home and I need a cozy warm spot for the send off. What's the concensus of the following for cozy warm and decent food:
The Bristol lounge, The Fireplace in Brookline, Christophers in Cambridge, Stephanies, Oleana or The Wayside in in Sudbury. I've alredy spent a fortune on entertaining here, so food about $20-$25/pp would suit it. (Actually my wallet is screaming for MacDonald's right now). I'm looking for fireplace atmosphere (He' actually looking forward to possible snow on the ground and the new england feel). We have all after noon timewise as flight is in evening. Many thanks for recommendations.

stay away from stephanies. while the food is definitely good, its also extremely genetic and is usually quite a scene. probably not what you are looking for. its pretty much a tourist trap

Okay, we went to the Hotel Intercontinental for a drink a few weeks back...I haven't eaten there - we stopped in for a late night drink. The place looks so cool - there's 2 restaurants and a rum/champagne bar. One place is called Miel - w/a provencale menu It is very pricey. Has anyone eaten there yet? Anyway, wherever you go, if you're bringing him back to Logan afterward, try stopping in there for a drink - great view of the harbor and fire places through out the bar area. I will post the question about Miel and Sushi-Teq (the other restaurant) to see if anyone has gone there.

For a cozy, leisurely lunch, I like Oak Bar or Bristol Lounge. I've had spotty service at both places and for the most part the food is OK at both, but they are both cozy spots and I never feel rushed at either.
