thanks. I specifically posted it here because I know MrNYC frequents this board and it moves much slower than the NY board so I thought he'd have a better chance of seeing it here. If he hasn't responded in a few days, can I ask that it be re-posted here? I don't have any other way of contacting him except via posting on this site and on this board; that's when I usually talk to him. Thanks for your consideration.
As we noted, we don't encourage singling out individuals rather than asking the group as a whole. And we try to keep the boards focused on the appropriate regions - so that hounds looking for information on NY dining don't miss out on any tips you might guess, and so that Midwest hounds don't have to sort out the NY tips from the ones closer to home.
If you really want to attract Mr NYC's attention, however, you may post a heads up post here, with a link to the thread on Manhattan, asking him to take a look and offer his input.
Your post was not deleted, it was moved to the Manhattan board. You can always find your recent posts using the 'my CHOW' link in the navigation bar, but here's a link to the post: http://www.chowhound.com/topics/366476
We don't recommend singling out specific hounds for advice, as asking all the hounds is bound to get you more and more varied responses than asking a single one.
