Pho 75 in Chinatown

Has anyone noticed that Pho 75 is coming to Chinatown?

I was heading towards my $9.95 "Whole Canadian Lobsters w/ Ginger and Scallion" at "Wong Wong" the other night, and noticed a new sign on Race reading: "Coming Soon - Pho 75!"

The sign was in the window of the former "Hoa Viet", which has seen a number of changes over the years. I guess they had trouble settling in on a format that worked for them. It's a few doors away from "Joy Tsin Lao".

I have mixed feelings. Now we'll have "Pho 75!" competing with "Pho Xe Lua" on two consecutive blocks of Race. Both are top notch Pho. Great to have an abundance of quality, but a bit redundant.

I noticed the same sign...I went to Chinatown last night after getting a rec. from a Vietnamese co-worker for Pho Xe Lua. I did a quick search on the board and saw all good thoughts. Well, we got there and they are closed on Wed. of course. Being that it was freezing cold out we went to Lakeside right down the street instead, and must not have ordered right as I usually love it there and we just didn't walk away satisfied unfortunately. Anyway, my question is what to order at Pho Xe Lua when we go back next week?
PS. Sorry, didn't mean to jack your post photorc

At Pho Xe Lua: the raw beef appetizer covered with crushed peanuts. Comes with fish sauce on the side.
