good, cheap breakfast within walking distance of vroman's?

(Vroman's being at 695 E. Colorado Blvd in Pasadena. I'm heading over that way this morning and I'm starving.)

  1. Yahaira's Cafe right across the street on the south side of Colorado. I don't know if it falls into your category of cheap though.

      1. If it's not too late -I love CoCo's for breakfast. On Lake just s of Walnut

        1. There is always a quick bite at Famima! :)

          1. i actually did end up going to coco's, since i was craving something eggy and american. the eggs -- which i ordered over-medium -- were a little TOO runny, i thought. they could have used another 30 seconds on the grill. i loved the potatoes, though. did that place used to be a denny's?

Denny's - maybe 15 years ago? Sorry about the runny eggs. I always have a great breakfast there. They even step up to the plate in the fall with awesome Pumpkin panacakes w/pecan syrup....YUM! If you're in that corner again, after 11:30A, you might try Sitar- Not the best Indian buffet, but, it was ok for a quick lunch. (I haven't been in a while). :) KQ

Sitar went downhill there for a while, but recently has gotten a lot better. We go there at least once a month for their very inexpensive lunch buffet.

Thanks Wildswede- I'll have to give Sitar another try.
