Ideas for Sunday dinner for 6
Hey Hounds:
I have relatives coming this weekend from Paris. We want to do a nice-ish dinner for 6 on Sunday evening, 40-50$ range per person, Miracle Mile, WeHo area to Bev Hills.
I'd like to avoid French food since they live in Frnace as well as cook amazing French food, but also find a place that has relatively comfortable seating and noise level.
Lots to ask for, but I just need inspiration. I feel like there are some obvious things I'm forgetting.
TIA

I've always been partial to Grace, which is really just heightened American faire, though some would call it Cal-French. Same goes for Hatfield's, though I much prefer the decor in Grace.
I'd suggest sushi also, but I wouldn't know where to point you in that price range for visiting out-of-towners (and out-of-countryers).

Irori is around that price range and has a great atmosphere.

I would recommend Jar, on Beverly. Your party can get a taste of solidly executed fine dining in American fare, in a comfortable setting: http://www.thejar.com/

You could do the Sunday dinner thing at Lucques. Pleasant setting that serves non-French food.
