Zito's Bar and Grill

Anyone tried Zito's Bar and Grill in Tustin in the Enderle Plaza that holds Zovs and Tropika. This place bills itself as an upscale version of Zitos pizza in a Sinatra syle fashion.I have never tryed Zitos pizza and this newcomer sounds overly ambitious...but you never know.Have there been any takers yet?

You have to try Zito's - the food there is incredible. The cioppino to die for. I eat there at least twice a week.

Zito's Bar and Grill is supposed to have the same ownership as the Zito's Pizza, but my boyfriend, who ADORES their meatball subs, didn't think those at the Bar and Grill were as good. I have had very nice Cobb salads, pastas and chicken entrees, all very good. My only concern is that, having shopped at Enderle Center since it first opened in 1975, that location is jinxed! The Cookbook, HOf's Hut, etc. etc. NOthing seems to last there! And by the way, Tropika is farther down 17th, not in the same center.

stormin norman, Zito's Bar and Grill is pretty good. Been there once and would go back again.

Zito's Grill is kind of an Italian American themed Claim Jumper...kind of place? The decor has a little bit of a dark upscale dinner club feel. Pretty nice for a mid-price ranged restaurant.

We had the stuffed sauage appetizer, which is a spicy italian sausage with a little melted cheese wrapped in pizza dough, and marinara dipping sauce...pretty good but wouldn't order it again. The Caesar salad was similar to Claim Jumper with the pre-grated dry parmisian cheese...decent salad though. The bread was Italian rolls heated in an oven/broiler...not freshly baked but good flavor. The lasagne was pretty good also. The top sirloin steak was cooked perfectly med-rare and the accompanying vegetables were simple but cooked firm not crunchy crispy and very good. My girlfriend really liked the garlic mashed potatoes also. By the way, Zito's pizza, pretty much Lampost style.

Overall, everything was pretty good, I would go back.
