The "stinky tofu" sushi roll?

ipsedixit Jan 30, 2007 08:42 PM

I recall having a "stinky tofu" sushi roll made with the Taiwanese deep-fried stinky tofu, some wasabi and avocado at a place in mid-Wilshire / Koreatown area.

I can't recall the name of the place, nor am I sure that it is still there.

Anyone know what I am talking about? Or, can otherwise recommend a place that would offer a similar roll?

Thanks very much.

perhaps you are referring to 'natto' - fermented soy beans. ... ie, natto roll.

      No. Stinky-tofu.

I know my stinky tofus from other soy products ...

What a brilliant idea. I am also interested in going to a place that serves this.
