  1. Waiting for the answer to this. Have not had a good version in NYC since the previous incarnation of the Brasserie on 53rd. And I've been trying.

Remembering the old Brasserie onion soup has caused craving here. Thanks a lot, serious.

    2. La Bonne Soupe

      1. Balthazar

        1. Cosette in the E.30s.

          1. My house! haha.

            1. Balthazar all the way

              1. La Petite Auberge

                1. My favorite is found at Blue Ribbon Brooklyn. It has such a rich flavor and is loaded with cheese.

I've also ordered it at Blue Ribbon Bakery but it was completely off. Everything seemed off that day but that's another matter. The soup was so obviously left under the heat too long. The bread and cheese were both hard as a rock. I ended up trying to cut it with a knife.

                  1. La Bonne Soupe! Everything else is eh there, but the onion soup is great.

                    1. L'Express on Park Ave South/20th.

They just had a DOH problem. I don't know that I'd be rushing back there so soon.
