Sushi in Murray Hill

I recently moved from the UWS to Murray Hill and left my favorite sushi place (Roppongi) behind. Can anyone recommend great sushi in Murray Hill, Kips Bay or Grammercy neighborhoods??

Mizu at 29 E 20th St is my favorite. We mostly get delivery. The fish is always fresh. In particular I like the spicy scallop roll and the salmon tar tar, but they have great Uni, Unagi and Tobiko sushi. My wife loves the lobster tempura roll.

Mishima on Lex between 30th and 31st. It's a pretty basic neighborhood sushi joint, but the best in the area that I found. Usually went there or got delivery at least once a week when I lived in the area.

I like the above and would also like to add Azuki. It's very small on third ave in the lower 30s but the sushi is always fresh and reliable. Spicy triplets roll is my standby with spicy salmon, spicy yellowtail, and spicy tuna with tempura flakes and avocado on the inside and fresh salmon on top. Killer!

There is a little basement sushi place that I found to be excellent on my last visit to NYC last November. I cant remember the name, but it is right next to Hotel 31. I believe they deliver too.

I definitely recommend Sushi Sen-nin on E. 33 St. between Park and Madison. The fish is always fresh. Some people think the prices are high (I don't).

I agree. Best in the area, really one of the best in the city.

I enjoy the lunch bento box special at Iron Sushi for 7.50, and usually go there for weekend brunch. While Zagat rated, I am not sure if it qualifies as great, but it's a damn good deal and decent quality as well.

I don't eat sushi, but I've heard that Tatany, on 26th St., b/t 2nd & 3rd, has very good sushi. Take-out and delivery only.
