Quincy's BBQ in Milpitas?

Has anyone tried Quincy's Barbeque in Milpitas? Apparently, the owner is a pastor and Arkansan who's been smokin' up BBQ for 18 years at that joint, based on a family recipe from 1888.

The fact that he uses hickory to smoke his meats is something I favor (I lived in S. Georgia for a while, and that's how we did it there).

I wonder if anyone here has tried it, and if so, what do you think? Otherwise, I'll have to drag myself over there and try it (which I'll end up doing anyway).

I just got back into town after 18 years in South Florida. I will be going back there next week & see if it is as good as I remember. If he's been there 18 yrs, I must have been 1 of his first regulars-I went there once or twice a week

All I can say after eating there today is you won't be disappointed if you never go!

It was the all time worst meal I ever had. Would not have fed the bone they served me to my dog.

Agree, tried it last week. I always try the brisket and links at a bbq joint. The links were inedible, by far the worst I've ever had. The brisket was dry, no juice at all, and no smoke ring or taste. BBQ sauce was tasteless- I will not be back.

Quincy's is good if you are in the area. Not worth a road trip, I used to work in Santa Clara and could get there in fifteen minnutes and was happy to do so. Reccomend ribs & chicken, good sauce too.
