Sunday brunch near Lexington, Beford area

Does anyone know of a good place for brunch on Sunday near Lexington or Bedford area? I prefer fresh food that has great coffee. Good egg dishes are preferred as well but will take any suggestions regarding brunch.

Up for a traditional Irish breakfast + much, much more? The Skellig on Moody St., Waltham runs brunch every Sat. & Sun from 10 til 3. If you come in towards latter time period you might hear some fiddle music, as well. There's plenty of free off-street parking, at that time, Sundays as well.

Tryst in Arlington center or Pava in Newton Centre both have very good brunch selections.

Unfortunately there are not a lot of good choices (and maybe no good choices). My favorite breakfast kinda in the area is at Joseph's Two, on Main Street in Waltham. But it's not exactly "brunch" -- it's a greasy spoon breakfast place -- and the coffee, while drinkable, is nothing special.

The Westin Hotel in Waltham has a weekend brunch, that's ridiculously expensive ($25 p/p) and also includes nothing-special coffee.

Some might recommend the Colonial Inn in Concord. I've found their food to be terrible, but I haven't been in 10 years (because the food was so bad on my last visit).

There is a Peet's in Lexington Center. That's probably the best coffee you're gonna find. Stop there for your coffee and then drive west on Mass Ave to the Denny's near Route 128 for breakfast. At least your coffee will be good.

If you want Dim Sum, China Pearl in Woburn is good on weekends. Washington Street exit from 128.

Sorry to correct you, but even Denny's has fled the scene... drove by yesterday and it is now called something like "Lexington Cafe".

So then....the question becomes; is that a step-up from Denny's? And, who knows that and will be nice enough to share with the Hounds?

Scuttlebut around Lexington is that it's pretty much the same old Denny's menu.
I have not been there to verify this.
