Looking for a Steakhouse For Anniversary Dinner

I have tickets to a Broadway show, and I'm looking for recommendations for the best Steak in the city. As of now I'm leaning towards Gallagher's ,but I'd like some feedback

Strip House is the most "romantic" as far as steakhouses go. My choice for a great steak is Wolfgangs.

For an anniversary, definitely strip house. Otherwise, I'm a huge fan of Quality Meats. Possibly the best service I receive at any restaurant and the food and decor are excellent.

If you are looking for the best steak in the city, Gallaghers is not one of them. If you want to stay in the theater district, than they might be your best, if only option. The best steak in the city is widely debated on this board and, excluding Peter Lugers in Brooklyn, usually comes down to Strip House, Sparks or Keens. For an anniversary, hands down pick Strip House. If you want to stay near the theater, than Sparks or Keens. BLT Steak is another option.
