Red Sambuca???!!!

Recently, my cousin bought me a bottle of red-colored sambuca. He had gone to an Italian restaurant and asked for "sambuca" at the end of a meal. The waiter asked if he wanted white (clear), black or red sambuca, and he asked in a suprised voice "red?" and ended up trying it. Since then he has arranged for his liquor store to carry it and given me a bottle. I opened the bottle Saturday night. It is definitely red in color, almost fir-engine red. It has the anise flavor of other sambucas, and it also has a taste like it has also been flavored with cinnamon red hots. So there is a lsight taste of cinnamon and some, a bit of, spice that touches your tongue. I liked it, and my S.O. does not like anise, so most of it is for me.

Has anyone else had it? Any comments?
