  1. Rebecca's or Polpo in Greenwich

      1. Thomas Henkelmann...Homestead Inn, Greenwich.

        1. Plates in Larchmont. My vote.

          1. Bernard's Inn in Ridgefield, Ct

            1. I second Hungrylikeawolf's recommendation for La Panetiere in Rye although without the accent over the "e" because I don't know the word code for that. I can do a tilde though - ñ.

              1. jean louis in greenwich gets my vote. can't go wrong with henkelmann's efforts at the homestead inn either.

                1. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant...

Ive never had anything but a wonderful meal at Avelino's and the people who work there are really wonderful.

                  1. Henk's is top notch, though a bit nicer when the warmer weather arrives, IMO.

                    1. Equus Restaurant- Castle on the Hudson.

Just had a special occasion there last week- it was fabulous, and very romantic. Try the Berkshire Pork w/ foie gras in currant sauce. One of the best entrees of my life. I've only been there once, so I don't know how consistent it is, and it's very pricey. But it is a beautiful place.

                      1. Cobbs Mill Inn in Weston, CT. Has been nominated by Zagat's a number of times as the most romantic restaurant in CT.

                        1. Paul Newman's new place The Dressing Room is quite romantic, especially for this time of year...very cozy, rustic. Food is good, gets better the more I think about it.
