Cornbread in the Valley tonight?

Mrs Ubergeek and I are craving cornbread. All of my baking supplies are packed. Besides Chili My Soul and barbecue joints, where else can we get good cornbread?

Valley east to Pasadena only, please!

Whole Foods always carries cornbread -It's not bad. Their gingerbread is good too. I actually made some tonight to have w/seafood chowder! :)KQ

Gelson's has excellent cornbread though I am not sure if they carry it all the time or if it is merely a seasonal item. The times I've found it, it's been on the deli counter. Damn you D.U,, now you've got me craving cornbread!

Actually that's about two minutes down the road -- but I'm just not into sickly sweet barbecue, and nobody around here does vinegar-mustard sauce very well. :)

hmmmmm... yeah you are correct.....not in the valley... I vacillate between enjoying both the sweet at times and the mustardy goodness of a great vinegar based sauce at other times.
