Richmond, VT Congregational Church Suppers

I have heard that the Congrational Church in Richmond, VT has amazing suppers. I always miss their annual Chicken Pie supper; as soon as I hear about it, the tickets are already gone (must be a good sign, eh?). Has anyone been??

In May the Middlebury Volunteer Fire Dept has an excellent Ham & Bean supper. It is held at the Waybury Inn, who graciously donate their dining room and staff for the event.
I'll have to check out the Richmond supper sometime...

We haven't made it up to the Richmond one yet. Bit of a hike for us. The chicken pie supper in Waitsfield at the United Church (in September) is wonderful. The one in Bennington, at St. Peters, is excellent and always sold out ahead of time. Also, there is a monthly roast pork supper in Pawlet that is not to be missed. I think they start up again in either March or May.
