Us elders and the children and grandchildren are headed to the island end of Feb. We're up for near anything good, children and grands less adventurous. Never been there, any suggestions? Thanks

  1. I can give a couple of casual suggestions that we liked. Rotten Ralph's has good seafood and a nice view from their outdoor deck. We also liked Rod and Reel Pier Restaurant.

    1. my only comment is Rotten Ralph's is located next to a Marina, and the smell of diesel fuel sometimes becomes a serious problem.
Rod & Reel is very good, as well as The Waterfront

I agree although I think Ralph's would be a good spot for the grandchildren.
p.s. Rotten Ralph will eventually be opening( second location??) on the new Bradenton Boardwalk.

We are heading out for our annual trek to Anna Maria. Where is the new boardwalk and when will it be complete?

      2. Be a sport---take them all to the best going .....
        SIGN OF THE MERMAID
        Downtown Anna Maria
        you will love it.....
excellent, reasonable, large plates, big assortment, home atmosphere
