What's the story with Vera's Cafe? [MSP]

Can someone please enlighten me about Vera's? Everytime I've been to Vera's, it's 95-100% filled with men.

Did I not see a sign on the door? Or does this not seem weird to anyone else?

The one think I love about Vera's is that they sell Mrs. Kelley's teas which are so yummy! (and local)

It seems it won best gay pick up spot in 2005! I didn't know that either but the food sounds great so I hope to get there soon.

I didn't know it was a pick up place or even that it is specifically a "gay" establishment. They do have some great stuff there and I always drop by when I'm in the neighborhood for a nosh and/or some liquid refreshment. Their patio is very nice also. It's a great place to sit and read during the summer.
