Valentine's Day in Jeans

Hi everyone. My girlfriend and I are meeting in DC the weekend after Valentine's Day (we do long distance) to see some friends and celebrate. I'm looking for a fun place to take her out for a belated V-Day dinner.

Good food is, obviously, the most important criteria. We're both pretty adventurous eaters, so I don't need some traditional romantic evening of oysters and chocolate souffle. Ethnic food is certainly in the mix here, as long as it's not a dive -- that would be ideal on most occasions, but I'm trying to step it up a bit this weekend.

Beyond that, I'm looking for a restaurant where the GF and I won't feel out of place in jeans. This is a special occasion, and I'm not looking to take her to Applebee's or anything like that, but we're only in town for a weekend and neither of us want to bring nice clothes or spend any of our limited time in the city at some quiet, stuffy place. We'd rather go somewhere fun.

In summary: good food of any kind, price doesn't matter, jeans OK. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for the help.

I would venture to say that with a nice top on you will be fine at Dino.

I second Dino's (Cleveland Park) and throw in Montematre (Cap. Hill).

        Nam Viet in Cleveland Park
        Lebanese Taverna in Woodley Park
        Nooshi Downtown, Pan-Asian
Jaleo for Spanish tapas. No reservations after 6:30pm, though.

All nice places, with very tasty food, jeans will fit right in.
