Where to buy fondant, almond paste, and marzipan?

Any ideas on where I can buy good quantities of fondant (regular, not rolled), almond paste, and marzipan, preferably in the East Bay (near Walnut Creek)? I need at least 3-4 pounds each, so the few ounce portions that are sold at Whole Foods and such are insufficient.

Berkeley Bowl sells almond paste in bulk. It's in the referigerator at the end of the bulk aisle, near the fresh Chinese noodles. Not sure about the other stuff, we make those.

Pasta Shop also has marzipan, but it was rock hard last time I looked for it so I got it at BerkB.

One could easily soften it up by microwaving it but I don't have one.

You could try Spun Sugar, a baking supply store on University Ave. in Berkeley

For the kind of quanitiy you are talking, contact Village Imports, a wholesaler and importer, located in Brisbane. 800-464-6373. They will probably sell to you.

In addition to the B Bowl, try Andronico's.

Village Imports often has an open to the public Warehouse sale as well, every couple of months or even monthly depending on the time of year. I've seen marzipan and almond paste there in large quantities. Haven't seen the fondant there, but they might have it as well. The sales are a lot of fun, usually with a lot of sampling of the products, and not everything is sold in large sizes.
