Cuban or Spanish places in KY

Does anyone know of any good Cuban or Spanish restaurants/delis in the Lexington, KY area? I know there are some places in Louisville, but I've yet to find anything in Lexington!

    Hi adhow,

Though I haven't tried it yet myself, Old San Juan (247 Surfside Dr, Lexington, KY, 40503, (859) 278-2682) seems like one of those deli/restaurant combo-type places were the food is simple but excellent. They have Cuban food. Happy eating!

I've heard they have good pressed Cuban sandwiches, but haven't made it over there yet. If I go, I'll let you know how it is!

The pulled beef at this place is amazing. So is the cuban bread (I think it's made with bacon fat).

If you are willing to drive to Augusta, call Shawn at the Beehive Tavern and see if he will make you a Palomilla steak....he is Cuban and I absolutely adored his rendition along with the Black Bean soup. It hasn't been on the menu in a while, but he always made it on request if he had advance notice.
