[HOU] One meal in Houston Chinatown

Just found out that I will be making a short weekend trip to Houston this weekend. Will be in the southwest part of town for one meal so I've decided on Chinatown.
If you can have one meal (most likely lunch) in Houston Chinatown (Bellaire/Beltway 8) area, which restaurant would you pick? What dishes would you order?
I'm coming from Dallas so I'm hoping to get something that Dallas doesn't have (or doesn't have as good of a version). The first thing that came to mind is pan fried dumplings at Lai Lai, but perhaps there are better options now that I don't have to eat like a college student?
I'm ruling out dim sum and any large family style meals because there will just be 2 of us.
I would probably go for Sandong Noodle House near the corner of B 8 and Bellaire. The beef noodle soup is great and the dumplings are devine.
Lai Lai and Sandong are both great, but.... if you want something you can't get anywhere else,
go to Sichuan Cuisine...it is unique, authentic, and amazingly delicious. But do pay attention to the recommendations in these postings (you will not be sorry!!!!):
check it out:
Sorry to disappoint fellow Chowhounds, we ended up leaving earlier than expected. The only meal I had in Houston was dinner at Amazon Grill on Kirby, which wasn't too bad.
