Has anyone tried the Public Restaurant?

Thanks for your input! I am new to the area and excited about trying all the great food that is out here.

I attended a networking event at the Public about a year ago. I also felt the food was mediocre. As I wasn't ordering from the table, it may not be the best representation. But a few things, like hard, uncooked peas in the crab cakes, seemed inexcusable. Perhaps things have changed since then, but I wont be back.

I went several months ago. I felt the food was mediocre. The lounge/bar area on the first floor is nice for grabbing some drinks and hanging out with friends though.
