Cafe du Soleil opens tomorrow (5/18)

I just got back from Cafe du Soleil, the latest project from Pascal Rigo, which was mentioned in last week's GraceAnn Walden column. Talked with a woman there, and they should be opening tomorrow.

Menu looks like really good, light fare -- open face sandwiches, good salads, and the like. Plus of course the spectacular pastry for which Bay Bread is well-known.

So, apparently a couple problems with the city, and they didn't open today as hoped. But the inspector came, and told them that they can definitely open next Tuesday.

I added a photograph of their two menus (one for morning/afternoon, one for evening), so you can see what the food will be like in detail.
