Apertivo (North Park--San Diego)

Finally got a chance to check out this place. Very good food--they specialize in Italian "tapas" (actually smaller portions that are suitable for sharing) and the prices are very reasonable. I started with a ceasar salad--not a huge portion but very tastey and they brought out a hot basket of soft, chewy breadsticks. For my pasta selecion I chose the mizithra cheese with brown butter and spaghetti. Excellent, though I'm sure my cholestorol level went up a notch, All in all I was quite impressed with the selections, I will go when I am even more hungrier, and they have quite an extensive food and wine selection that will cater to almost anyone. The only downsides were the street parking (can be hard to find a space) and the restaurant's acoustics are awful which means it is quite loud--your best bet is to try and land one of two outdoor tables if it is a warm evening. I will go back though.
