veggie/carni harmony SM/Venice?
I know- I hate when posts that seem completely researchable are put up. But I swear I've looked, and I still need you Westside peeps' help.
Going to dinner with another couple this Friday night. They're both fish eating veggies. We're decidedly not.
Wines can be in the twenties, but entree prices shouldn't be.
Hep me! Hep me!
For the record, my first thought was 12 Washington, but....eh....

26 Beach has a huge menu -- salads, sandwiches, other stuff -- and all of it is pretty good. They can have a salad, you can have a burger. Sounds like harmony to me.
Gabi's in Culver City works pretty well, too. It's Lebanese, so they can load up on hummus, falafel, etc. You can get chicken, beef, lamb, etc.
Indian food is always a fine option in situations like this. Annapurna in Culver City, Bombay Cafe on Pico/Bundy is excellent, and there are other Indian places in Santa Monica.

I would suggest the 'cook your own' vegetables. They also have assorted rices and korean vegetable selections.
