hot posts for specific boards?

can someone please explain how to access hot posts for a specific board? I understand how to look at what is now called latest posts, but that just displays all the latest posts, I want to see only the latest for the midwest board. I am really frustrated and disappointed!

Alice: Click the arrow to the right of "Boards" to see the menu of boards. At the top, click "Your Unread Posts." In the box to the right of the "Mark All As Read" link, use the drop-down menu to select "Midwest." Et voila! Clunky, to be sure, but it works.

I have the same question. And even with the new way of doing things, how do you mark as "all read"???
