5th Avenue grill DelRay
It was my parents' 62 anniversary, so we contributed to "older clientele"
The atmoshere was what you would expect on a Saturday- noisy and crowded.
The tables are so crammed together that I doubt if it would ever be nice.
The food was as you said - not great. House salad was ordinary, dressings tasted packaged. Most of the people in our party had the strip steak which was fine, cooked as we ordered them. Shoestring potatoes were greasy tasting, baked potatoes tasted like they had been sitting around..
Maybe if we had ordered off the sides menu instead of taking what came with the meals it would have been better. The swordfish was mushy and the tuna was okay,
On a positive note, the waiter was wonderful and even put up with my uncle who has never eaten anywhere without sending at least one item back.
