Business Lunches/Dinners - Midtown

Looking to update my list of go-to places for great (upscale) business lunches and dinners - preferably in mid-Midtown (why is this never an option?) as our offices are in Rockefeller Center and my bosses are not going to walk all the way to 8th or 2nd avenues, nor get in a cab with potential clients.

If anyone has been to an especially memorable business-friendly location lately I'd love suggestions!

  1. Del Frisco's for steak. Le Bernardin for fish. Alto for Italian. There's the place next to MoMA (Modern?). China Grill.

I concur with China Grill, the food is nice and the portions huge (keep that in mind when ordering) I would also mention Cite which is not an upscale place but a decent enough place for a business lunch and very convenient to that location. There is also Triomphe a bit farther away on 44th bet 5/6th.

    2. Try Milos, we love the simple menu and super fresh Fish. A bit pricey but definitely worth it for a great lunch.

      1. Acqua Pazza, Tuscan Square, and Houston's.

        1. I concur that the Modern Dining Room inside the Moma is a good choice if you can get a table overlooking the MOMA garden.

          1. Aquavit - I think on 56th?
