Live Bait?

Is it horrible? I have to take a couple of 20-something girls there, or somplace near there, for lunch.

Open to suggestions. They're definitely not foodies. I am.

I would recommend Breadbar at Tabla too. Waaaaay better choice. Live Bait is like going to a college bar that serves food

Agreed. I went there with a bunch of people a few weeks back -- it's a bit cramped and loud at lunch, service was on the slow side, the food was competent but not noteworthy.

Some people may like the "theme" aspect, but I found it cheesy.

Agree with above, it's very average. But non-foodies should find it ok, if a bit dark inside, and the fish sandwich isn't bad. If you wanted to go someplace more expensive Bread Bar at Tabla is right there also...

I have done hamburgers and sandwiches. It's ok. Not a foodie spot for sure.
