Hi,

Hoping for any feedback (good/bad) on La Table du Lancaster - thinking of going for my 30th Birthday dinner with a group of 8 people in March.

Would love your thoughts and if anyone has a better suggestion would love to hear it - trying to avoid 2/3 star spots for this occasion - after something festive with great food - all in all hoping for a memorable evening.

Many thanks for your help!

I would recommend to you Chez Jean in the 8th arr. It is run by a terrific couple, Frederic and his wife. Frederic was a waiter at Taillevant and his wife worked as M. Vrnat's assistant (sorry, I can't remember her name). Their training is put to very good use and the service shines like a three star. The food is very modern and delicious. They received a star in 2006. I think you will enjoy it there.
