Coffee with client.....not at Starbucks

Also i little further, but one of my favorites for a good cappucino and a peaceful atmosphere is a cafe two doors down from corrado bakery on 70th and lex (totally blanking on the name)

Perhaps you're thinking of Sicaffe. Exceptional coffees. always worth the trip. But often crowded. If it's confidential biz, you can be overheard.

Would you be able to travel as far as 78th? Cafe St Ambroeus is wonderful. On the west side of Madison.

It might be too far but I like Fika on 58th street, off 5th avenue. If you can grab a table, it is charming.

Another option is Bottega del Vino - 59th & Mad (on 59th) - wonderful espresso and a nice area in which to sit. Great panini (sp?) too.

You could try the Nespresso bar on Madison betw. 65th and 66th. It has a very trendy feel to it -- too much so for my taste -- not sure if that's what you are going for.

Forget about the Nespresso Bar on Madison. There is no soul. It's nothing but a big chain and the service is not as good as it should be.
And yes, go to Bottega del Vino, I can't get enough of this bar :-)

Ditto Nespresso and Bottega! Both are great, IMO.
