PJ Kellehers
It's on Center Street between West Roxbury and Roslindale, across from Yucatan Tacos. It looks kinda scary from the outside but if I went by looks alone I never would have found some true gems out there. Anybody ever been for the food not the beer?

Wow, I never thought I'd see Kelleher's on Chowhound!
Definitely a welcome addition back to the area. In its former life, Kelleher's was a great local watering hole in a part of Roslindale without many other options. Or at least options were one can sit and have a few beers while watching the game or shooting some pool. I have heard that the person formerly in charge of the kitchen at the Corrib in West Roxbury will be establishing a similiar menu at the new Kellehers.

I've been to PJK's a number of times (my home is a two minute walk) and I find it to be a good place to get a beer and watch a ballgame. The kitchen is open on a very limited basis - maybe Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I have only seen one or two people eating the food. Menu is pretty limited.
My thought, you're not missing much in the food dept. Not a bad place for a cheap beer.
